Cake Handling Guide
The cake is delicate; it should be transported straight to the venue and any shocks should be avoided.
Please keep the cake away from direct sunlight with ideal room/car temperature being under 22 degrees.
1- The cake should be put on a flat surface (preferably boot of the car).
It should be secured in a way that doesn't let the box move or slide in the car.
Do not put the cake on the seat or lap as it can damage the cake.
2- When grabbing the cake box, always hold it from the bottom instead of the sides to protect the work done on icing.
3- For tall and multi-tiered cake; it is recommended to have a SUV or hatchback with an empty boot where the cake can be easily transported.
4- For tall and multi-tiered cake; the cake may have separator discs (card board) and dowels (wooden skewers) to support the cake structure.
Your knife may not go through to the bottom, serve up the top part first, remove the separator and serve the rest.
5- The cake is not allergy friendly; anyone with gluten, egg or nuts allergy should avoid eating the cake.
6- The cake can not be used for smashing.
Please take out all non-edible objects (if any) before serving and use a sharp knife to cut the cake.
7- SweetlyYours is not responsible for any damage after the pick-up.
8- Please advise a new pickup time if running late by more than 15 minutes..
